In our time, original thinking is disappearing faster than anything else. And so we should ask ourselves: what real impact does it have on humanity? In this article, I’ll discuss what happens spiritually when we engage with replicated rather than original spiritual teachings. And how these two influence the development of our consciousness. So if you’re a visionary and have ever wondered why most spiritual teachings feel superficial, this is for you.
Why Is Original Thinking Disappearing?
Original thinking is the ability to contemplate, sit with, or have a philosophical conversation about deep concepts. Think of the philosophers of ancient Greece, for instance. As my philosophy teacher once taught me, the word philosophy literally means love of wisdom. And that is exactly what you must have to maintain your original thinking. It’s the love of wisdom that makes you sit with difficult concepts with an open mind for hours, weeks, decades without rushing in with answers. You wait for wisdom to crystallize, and only say, “This is it,” after you’ve sat in the void.
In today’s world, where information is literally at your fingertips 24/7, it’s easier to research a topic. But if everyone researches and circulates the same information over again, does it still contain the original wisdom of the original thinker who has likely arrived at that concept through years of contemplation?
When you read this, you may think, ” Oh, Sylvia, but this is just so much effort!” And yes, I don’t argue with your point. It’s an effort, but it’s mostly about your values and the kind of person you choose to be. If you asked my husband, he’d tell you I’m the worst person at googling things. I always sit with every concept until it crystallizes. And I realize that this is how we were all born. I never stopped doing it.
If you’re reading this, you’re likely a Visionary of some kind. You seek depth and novelty. You’re dissatisfied with the shallowness you find everywhere. And that’s why I speak directly to your heart. I invite you to protect your original thinking. I want you to become the Visionary and Dreamer you were born to become by strengthening your philosophical muscle. By creating an Oasis of Peace where you can sit and contemplate. Where you can toss over heavy concepts without trying to close the gap.
Let it mature. Let it sit there until it turns into wisdom. Because if you don’t give up, it always will. Wisdom is inevitable, but it’s a long journey that most people give up because we’re told to move fast and catch up with the world instead of leading the collective consciousness into a New Paradigm.
Replicated vs. Original Spiritual Teachings
Now that we’ve covered that original thinking is disappearing because we’ve lost the ability we had as children to contemplate, let’s look at the impact of replicated vs. original spiritual teachings on consciousness. Replicated teachings are the original teaching transcribed over and over until they inevitably lose their message. This is the case even more with spiritual teachings, where the original meaning came from an authentic spiritual experience and altered state of consciousness, which aren’t necessary to replicate it, but are the key to preserving the original spiritual teachings.
What happens when we replicate spiritual information for decades, hundreds, or thousands of years?
The original message gets lost.
Now, what happens when someone who doesn’t fully understand the original teaching replicates the message? Involuntarily, they begin to use imprecise language, which often fuels misunderstandings. They may also take shortcuts and simplify things because they didn’t understand the depth and multiple layers behind the original teachings.
Anyone who replicates the original teaching without being initiated into that level of wisdom unintentionally pollutes the original message.
Naturally, this leads to creating a complex system that is just a replication of itself. What happens when we replicate the same teachings? Stagnation at best. A gradual decline, most likely.
Such a system becomes increasingly difficult for people to discern information spiritually. Even if that information still contains a seed of truth, it likely comes with illusions and misinterpretations.
The Ancient System of Keeping Knowledge
In ancient times, Priests and Priestesses protected knowledge and shared it only with Initiates. You had to prove yourself first to access that wisdom so that you wouldn’t misuse it through superficial thinking. The ancients believed that if a non-Initiate accessed the wisdom, they’d infuse it with their wounding and limitations and pollute it.
They wouldn’t know what to do with it because it didn’t unlock their current level of consciousness. Like holding a key to the wrong door, no matter how upset you get, it won’t fit. I don’t believe this ancient system works for our times anymore.
As a species, we’re interacting with replicated spiritual teachings that have lost their original meaning in translation. We all deserve access to information; however, I suggest that we also teach original thinking, perhaps by creating a modern-day philosophy community or simply by not suppressing it.
Because increasing information without matching it with wisdom is insanity, and it will cost us more than we realize.
How Does It Impact Your Consciousness When You Interact With Replicated Teachings?
Replicated teachings connect us to “artificial” fields of consciousness. Any thought system, a single thought, even a piece of information, is connected to a specific field of consciousness. When you interact with replicated teachings rather than the originals, you involuntarily connect to a field that lacks the original codes and Source consciousness.
When replicated teachings are disconnected from their point of origin, that becomes a ceiling. You can’t evolve past something you believe is “it.” Without open-mindedness, original thinking becomes inaccessible, and we function without lower fields of consciousness, which locks us in that system.
Let’s say someone learns basic algebra and then teaches it to others. Over time, everyone teaches only basic mathematics. Naturally, their students won’t grow beyond that level. And maybe, over time, someone says that this is all there is to mathematics. We forget, and with that, the collective consciousness falls.
From a spiritual perspective, the soul then begins to loop in certain timelines of a frequency similar to the replicated teaching. This means the soul is re-experiencing similar sets of events across lifetimes, like being locked in Groundhog Day without any forward motion. I could give you many examples, but that is another conversation entirely.
Unfortunately, the same applies to the collective. As a collective, we can also be stuck in time loops. And I believe that this is the role of Visionaries – to get the collective wheels unstuck and move the Age forward. Your original thinking is the key.
That’s partly why history keeps repeating itself over and over again. Looping through replicated teachings and their subsequent fields of low consciousness inevitably creates a ceiling to spiritual growth.
Unhooking Yourself From Replicated Timelines
The original spiritual teachings bring people back to who they are. It’s always rooted in sovereignty. This, in turn, helps the soul unhook itself from the time loops. It allows the soul to evolve because the soul now faces true time. It can properly orient itself in time.
Imagine time as a spectrum of consciousness. Let’s say you’re in the center of the spectrum; behind you is the past, and in front of you is the future. Even though time can’t truly be split like that, we use linear time for this example. As the soul moves through different timelines, choosing new threads of destiny at crossroads, over time it may lose track of what’s the future and what’s the past and begin to move backward in time, getting caught up in time loops.
Or you learn to orient yourself in time by aligning yourself with Source consciousness and your true self, unhooking yourself from these time loops. Then you no longer face the same type of experiences and lessons; you can create something new.

Right now, we’re facing such an opportunity when the planetary cycle ends and the new one begins. The books are open; souls can reorient themselves in time. Source consciousness brings new original teachings and solutions to the planet.
Should You Continue Reading Spiritual Books?
After reading this, you may think, ” What’s the solution? Should I stop reading books?” You can read them, knowing they may not be the ultimate truth. In these times when information is everywhere, we need more than ever people who can access original thinking and translate it into original teachings.
You need spiritual discernment more than ever. Lots of information lacks spiritual substance; it no longer carries the Source consciousness. Unfortunately, that type of information is neutral at best, harmful at worst.
Therefore, you must first strengthen your connection to who you truly are, and make it so strong that you remember your sovereignty. Only when you’re unattached to what you seek can you see the truth.
Luckily, as replicated teachings connect us to time loops and lower consciousness, original teachings do the opposite. Original spiritual teachings clear away any misinterpretation or mystery. They are both spiritual and practical, and most of all timeless.
Through a strong connection to self, we can connect to Source Consciousness. And to filter information, teachings, anything truly through that field of consciousness that we call Source.
