The overall life purpose is to remember your Original Self and to translate its essence into your life. Throughout your life, you’re being guided to deeply connect to your innermost essence, which is unique and feels like home. Then, throughout your life, you carry your unique imprint. It reflects who you are deep down. In this article, I guide you through a pathway to remember your Original Self. A pathway familiar to your soul.
What Is Your Original Self
Your Original Self is who you are and have always been, outside time and space. It exists beyond conditioning. It carries your original essence across all lifetimes as created originally by God (Source, Higher Power). Thus, your Original Self is an unchangeable, steady presence that creates the heart of who you are.
As you remember your Original Self, you align your life with your north star. You gain clarity about who you are, rather than what your conditioning tells you you should become. Moreover, you begin to tap into something lasting, something primordial within you. Something that makes you unique, distinct, not to stand out but to belong to yourself before you belong to the world truly.
The Path of Remembrance is a soul’s journey to remember its Original Self.
Expressing Your Essence Into Your Life
As you remember your Original Self, you’ll feel your essence more and more strongly. Your essence is like your secret energetic code, an imprint that you’ve carried over lifetimes. The essence is the mechanism through which the Original Self expresses itself in your life.
Your essence will naturally guide you to improve every area of your life so it matches who you truly are. As you begin to embody your essence, you act rather than contemplate your inner world. Your essence now has a clear way to flow outwardly instead of circulating inwardly. This releases an inner pressure of, “I should be further in my life.”
Through an aligned, consistent, embodied action, your essence directs your life force to where it’s meant to flow. And instead of inner pressure, you begin to feel peace and belonging, as if you’re in coherence with your heart, mind, and soul.
Embodiment is an essential part of remembering your Original Self. This is where spiritual becomes practical. The inner world shapes your outer world. Consequently, you experience a sense of harmony.
However, if we align our lives with something other than our essence and Original Self, it may feel restrictive and misaligned, and we may feel the constant pressure of ‘it’s too late, too soon, never just right’.
What Happens When You Remember Your Original Self
Remembering your Original Self is the sole purpose of life. In some traditions, this is called enlightenment or ascension. I prefer the word ‘remembrance’ because your Original Self is already part of you.
The Path of Remembrance – ascension – is rather a circular journey than climbing a ladder.
You may move through the Path of Remembrance cyclically, revisiting similar themes that are independent of one another, deepening your inner authority and remembrance.
On the highest level, when you remember your Original Self, you truly experience a sensation of inner completion. There is no more healing, just a pure expression and creativity from your Original Self. Think about it like a Moon that is receiving the illumination of the Sun to know itself and then becoming the Sun that radiates instead of receiving.
However, remembering your Original Self is about deepening, growing into who you truly are. Each time you remember your Original Self a little more, it exponentially improves your life. So the journey itself is the purpose of life.
How to Remember Your Original Self
There is a roadmap to remember your Original Self. Every soul moves through certain “spheres of influence,” as I began to call them, along the Path of Remembrance. Within every sphere, you move through certain spiritual themes, lessons to learn and integrate, and you work on embodying a specific aspect of your Original Self.
For simplicity, I’ve named those aspects archetypically. The initiatory phase, the Lightworker, is defined by a heart chakra awakening, connecting to the soul, remembering soul gifts, for some accessing soul memories from past life, inner emotional healing, and the beginning stage of soul embodiment.
This is followed by the Starseed archetype, a developmental stage within the soul, marked by gaining a multidimensional awareness, a significant expansion of energy bodies, and deepening one’s spiritual gifts by connecting to aspects of self that exist in higher dimensions (solar systems).
This is then followed by the Priestess or the Priest archetype. Priestess is the full integration and embodiment of your essence and what you’ve learned so far. Naturally, it brings the inner masculine and feminine energies into coherence, where one supports the other without dominating it.
Then, as you remember your Original Self, you enter the Inner Leader stage. This is where the inner energy is outwardly expressed through a mission. There is a new wave of refinement and healing as the soul moves through subconscious beliefs about being visible, leading, and speaking one’s truth.
The last stage is then Master. Master is the unification of the four previous stages. This is where you remember your Original Self completely, and your life shifts from self-focused to learn and knowing oneself to a service focus and giving back to the collective. At this point, your body of work becomes distinct and unique, shaped by your essence. This is where the Original Self begins to lead the way.
The 6 Spheres of Influence
As you remember your Original Self and move through the Lightworker to Master stages, you’ll be navigating the 6 spheres of influence along the Path of Remembrance. We move through the spheres cyclically; some may overlap. I explore the spheres in more depth in the video above. This is just an overview.
1. Emotional & Energetic Mastery
As you remember your Original Self, you learn to master your energy so it doesn’t merge with others’. You can be grounded in who you are, what you value, and how you want to express yourself without suppressing yourself. Further, within this sphere, we also learn to master the flow of our energy, away from distractions toward our purpose.
2. Source Consciousness & Original Self
This is the core of remembering your Original Self. You’re gradually remembering and embodying interconnected expressions of the Original Self as outlined above.
3. Spiritual Sovereignty & Soul Power
In this sphere of influence, we purify our inner power, moving it from ego-based power to Source-rooted power. This naturally purifies the way we use our life force, what we focus on, and what we create. Stepping into soul power allows us to start acting from our sovereignty. This is where we learn to be with others without losing a sense of self. We move from inner authority and hold it steadily, even if someone else may not understand why it matters to us.
4. Masculine & Feminine Embodiment
As you remember your Original Self, you’ll feel the call to embody it. To translate your essence into every aspect of life, down to the smallest detail.
When someone looks at you, they can now feel your essence. If they lived with you, they’d see your essence reflected in the way you move through your days, in how your home is structured, and in the way you express yourself verbally. The Original Self’s essence now governs every matter of life.
5. Value, Exchange & Life Force
The next sphere to embody, as you remember your Original Self, is the way you use your life force. Since life force is an expression and mechanism of embodying your essence, the way you use it is paramount. Within this sphere, we learn to circulate our life force within from the inner world to outer expression in a most coherent way with one’s essence. Consequently, this creates, restores, and amplifies wealth as money is its external expression.
6. Spiritual Leadership
Last but not least, as you remember your Original Self, you’ll deepen your inner self-leadership. You begin to walk your talk, and this makes you irresistibly magnetic to your soul tribe. As you refine the way you lead yourself through your days, you live out and deepen your mission. This naturally adds a new layer of refinement to fears about publicly standing in your truth.
The whole Path of Remembrance through which you move on a soul level as you remember your Original Self is held within my School of Remembrance, where this becomes a practical, structured way to know and express your true self.
