How to Know Your Self-Worth Through Aligned Actions
Your actual value is innate; it’s independent of anything. Just like a newborn is perfect, and no one doubts their value, so are you. However, it is almost impossible to feel and know your inherent value if you don’t act in alignment with who you want to become.
You’re both the being and the becoming. You’ve always been worthy because of your essence created by the Source. And yet, you’re forever on the journey of becoming who you could be in your highest potency.
Your worth is innate, but you only really feel it when you step into your highest vision of yourself.
Your Worth Never Goes Away: A Diamond in the Mud
Your soul continuously sends you visions to act on. Once you polish the diamond, the soul shows you the person you’re meant to become. Imagine you accidentally toss the diamond into a pile of mud as you walk. Does it lose its value? No, it doesn’t. It’s still a diamond.
But most people won’t see the diamond you are in the pile of mud; they’ll walk by. And neither will you feel seen and appreciated for your value because you’re stuck in the mud where you don’t belong.
Therefore, your soul guides you to get out of the mud and shine. Once you find the right environment where you belong, like decorating the crown, you’ll understand that you’ve always been a diamond.
There are many layers to you. For simplicity, let’s consider only your soul and inner child. Your inner child has likely never been shown how to get to where they belong. As any child does, your child desires to feel loved, safe, and appreciated. The inner child wants you to take them out of the mud.
However, they don’t believe you can be successful – embodying your soul’s visions – because you still try to succeed in a way that is not in harmony with your soul. It doesn’t feel authentic.
Your inner child is stuck doing things the way they’re supposed to be done. But your soul wants you to do what you’re meant to —find where you truly belong in a way that honors you, your energy, and your gifts. This is why knowing your self-worth feels difficult.
Your self-worth indicates how well aligned you are with your soul.
You Can’t Know Your Self-Worth Without This
The missing key to knowing your self-worth is teaching your inner child how to become the person of your dreams. When you reach your highest vision of yourself, you will feel your worth because you finally recognize your value by acting on your dreams.
By valuing your dreams and your inner child, and taking self-leadership toward the person you’re meant to become, you’ll feel your value because you now actually value yourself.
Where do you hold yourself back from acting on your dreams? These are the thresholds for knowing your value.
Let me give you an example. My client, K, has always wanted to feel good in her body. Although beautiful, she gained some extra weight as a manifestation of her fear of being seen. Yet, in her visions, she had always imagined the day when she would get her dream body and dress that expresses her soul. She has dreamed of it for more than a decade.
After releasing her fear of being seen and helping her cultivate self-love, she started acting on her dreams. All of them at once. And without trying, her body mirrored the new way she valued herself by taking soul-aligned actions that naturally reshaped themselves to her desired shape.
However, her whole life quantum leaped at that point, and this was only a cherry on top. The biggest gift was that she now understood her value as she found a better job, improved her marriage, and created a circle of friends. She showed her inner girl how to become the woman of her dreams by working on her mindset and emotions and taking action. Finally, she was in the right environment that mirrors her soul, and she never doubted her value again.
Her value has always been there, but she had acted out of alignment with who she really was. Once she stepped into the visions she always carried in her heart through her embodiment. She could finally know her value. At last, she treated herself as a woman who values herself.
