How to become magnetic to your soul’s desires as a lightworker? Most lightworkers are really good at giving. Since childhood, they’ve felt a responsibility to be here for others, often at their own expense. It’s the desire to see others happy, no matter the cost. But everything in the universe needs to be balanced. Thus, when we continuously give and give, we block ourselves from receiving. We stop being magnetic to our soul’s desires. And then life needs to reset the scale where we “need to” receive. So, how can you become magnetic to your soul’s desires?
The key to becoming magnetic is to allow yourself to receive. Interestingly, this seems to be one of the hardest things for heart-centered people to do. They are used to giving and giving. But you can’t become magnetic to your soul’s desires without giving matched by receiving. Eventually, you can’t step into your fullest potential because your potential needs you to allow yourself to receive the resources you need to embody it.
Contrary to a common belief, there is nothing spiritual about overgiving. It defies the laws of harmony in the universe, where what comes out must be returned. But how can the life force you so freely give return if you don’t allow it? How can you become magnetic to the life you desire if you don’t let yourself be supported? And ultimately, how can you become magnetic if you separate yourself from oneness by believing God has forgotten you?
Therefore, to truly learn how to become magnetic, you must get really good at receiving—receiving the life you desire, allowing the universe to gift to you through others, and receiving your soul’s desires, knowing that as you embody them, consciousness expands through you. It’s all a choice, although not an easy one. Therefore, I’d like to rephrase how we see receiving to help you become magnetic to your soul’s desires.
Let’s first define what it means to be magnetic to your soul’s desires. Magnetism and radiance are two primary energy transmissions within your aura. When you give, you radiate energy, which activates your inner masculine energy. When you receive it, your aura becomes magnetic, activating your feminine energy. Both energy flows work independently of our gender.
You become magnetic when you allow yourself to receive. This is easier said than done. Especially for lightworkers, trailblazers, priestesses, and starseeds. Since the people who contribute to the change of collective consciousness unintentionally base their self-worth on being helpful.
What if your value didn’t depend on what you can do for others?
When you believe your worth is tied to what you can do for others, you must continue giving. Something in you believes that it’s not okay to receive. So you become the one people go to when they face a problem, but they aren’t there for you when you need them. This creates one-sided relationships.
The solution to how to become magnetic is to unravel what you’ve linked your self-worth to. Then, see whether it feels true in your heart or is a lie you bought yourself into. Is it true that receiving is bad? Is it true that you must be there for others, even at your own expense? And ultimately, is it true that you have nothing else to offer than what you can do for others?

The second solution to how to become magnetic is to realize that giving and receiving need to match. When they aren’t equal, the balance is created externally. A simple example of this is going on vacation and falling sick. Maybe you’ve overgiven yourself before, and your body puts you into a forced receptive mode.
Life seeks balance. We allow it consciously, or the scales of giving and receiving will be set externally.
The third solution to how to become magnetic as a lightworker is to stop overgiving. Deep down, you always know if you’ve given too much energy, time, and resources. You can feel it when the scales are tipped off balance. And it never feels good. The universe, even nature, doesn’t overgive. There are seasons to sow new seeds, time for growth, harvest, and deep rest. So why should it be any different for us?
The more energy you leak through overgiving, the more energy you leak.
Overgiving isn’t spiritual. It’s a wound-driven response from childhood, where you didn’t feel supported. It didn’t feel safe to receive, so you unconsciously created the identity of giving. However, this blocks the magnetism that is natural to your aura. The aura shuts down to receiving, and we shut ourselves off from the support that wants to flow into our lives, which goes against the laws of the universe where giving and receiving match. Overgiving is rooted in a scarcity mindset. Our life force is tied to something external, such as seeking external validation through giving.
As we move into a new paradigm, we move away from conditional giving. Conditional giving is the idea that if I give you this, you should give me that in return. It’s never genuine. It never comes from the heart. However, in the new paradigm, you give from an overflow and what feels good. Sometimes, you give a lot more than you expected, and it feels good; other times, you respect your season of rest and rejuvenation. This restores energy balance in your and other people’s lives. By following this natural flow of energy, you become magnetic.
True giving comes from the soul. It comes from the overflow, and thus, it contributes to others, including yourself.
Your soul is infinitely abundant. It will always desire to create more and give more to others. There is no lack at the soul level. As you move from the conditioned giving (I should, although it doesn’t feel aligned), you become magnetic because your energy can now move freely through your aura.
The last key to becoming magnetic is understanding that you always receive from God. When you give from the soul, you always receive abundantly back. You receive from God, the soul, the Higher Self who rearranges it through others. The universe has no scarcity of love, abundance, health, or vibrancy.
A common misconception is that you receive from others instead of from God. You see other people as the source of something; if you want something from them, you take it away. So there are fewer resources for everyone. This is an ancient concept rooted in scarcity.
If prosperity in the form of abundance, love, and resources feels sometimes heavy, it’s time to allow yourself to receive it.
