2. The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth
– Dolores Cannon (2011)
“The Three Waves of Volunteers and the New Earth” can also be a book that raises some questions. This book is for anyone who feels like an alien or for people who think that they may have had extraterrestrial contact.
Dolores Cannon worked (probably) with hundreds of people in hypnosis through which she discovered 3 waves of Lightworkers or Starseeds. Those souls have come to volunteer Earth and people to transit into higher frequencies. Cannon transcribed some of the sessions that she had with her clients who talk about a greater plan for Starseeds and why they’re on Earth nowadays.
3. The Complete Works Of Florence Scovel Shinn
– Florence Scovel Shinn (new edition from 2018)
Although her books aren’t exactly mind-blowing, they walk you through auto-suggestion and the law of attraction. Florence Shinn was undoubtedly a woman ahead of her time.
I found reading them positive and empowering because you realize your power as a creator of your life. She was a New Age woman who believed in the power of affirmations already at the beginning of the last century. I love reading older books because they only show us that no knowledge is new. It’s only newly weaved together.
4. Initiation
by Elisabeth Haich (new edition 2016)
The book Initiation is another controversial book to read of an exceptional woman ahead of her time. Haich was a Hungarian spiritual teacher who spoke about her childhood and past life memories in her book.
Probably if I didn’t go through some very similar experiences myself, then I wouldn’t believe that what is written in Initiation can be true. Haich will show you the parallels between her life in Hungary and her life in ancient Egypt as she was preparing herself to become a priestess. As a person who is remembering her own life as a High Priestess too, I could align with many processes and experiences of Haich. But as always, filter everything through your own guiding system.
5. A Course in Miracles
– Helen Schucman (1975)
This is undoubtedly one of “the must” books to read. Even though I’ve been recommending A Course in Miracles many times, I need to include it in this list again.
A Course in Miracles is a metaphysical book that has been channeled by Helen Schucman. The book has 3 sections – the text, daily exercises (365), and manual for teachers. It’s a self-study material that changes the way you think. It helps you to see through the ego tricks in the form of fears and illusions.
The book uses Christian vocabulary as it was “dictated” to Helen by Jesus. Now, you can think this sounds strange but give it a try and start reading. Soon, you understand that this is not an ordinary book.
If this book feels too heavy for you to read (it’s not a quick read), you can read about the main principles in my book Become the CEO of Your Mind: Overcome Ego, Illusions, and Fears.
6. The Hidden Life of Trees: What They Feel, How They Communicate
– Peter Wohlleben (2016)
This is one of the books to read also for me! 🙂 It’s been on my read-list for over a year since my friend has recommended it to me. So, I can’t tell you much about how The Hidden Life of Trees is, but if you love nature, I’m sure you’ll love this book too.
